Day 1: Arrival and Riva

You will meet your guide in the afternoon at your spa hotel in Riva, at the northern end of Lake Garda. This is a charming little town of medieval origin and our base for the coming two days. After dinner at the restaurant, you'll still have time for an evening stroll and perhaps a view of the town from the Torre Apponale bell tower.

Day 2: Lake Garda - approx. 40 + 10 km

We pick up our bikes and cycle through the pretty little harbour towards the Cascata Varone. We refresh ourselves at this natural waterfall where it is recommended to wear a raincoat. Our journey takes us along winding paths through the lush vineyards until we reach the charming town of Ceniga.. Here, we relish a delightful picnic amidst the refreshing shade of ancient trees. For the adventurous nature lovers, a must-visit is the Marocche biotope, which boasts a one-of-a-kind landscape enveloped in dense black pines. It's a true paradise for those who prefer exploring on foot. After Torbole, on the eastern shore of the lake, the descent is made in all relaxation towards the ferry for Limone and the "Skywalk". This "pista ciclabile" overlooks the lake, clings to the western cliff and takes you back to Riva.

Day 3: Adige Valley and Verona - approx. 43 km

Our bus takes us to Peschiera, a town founded by the Romans on the southern shore. After a stroll through the town, the bucolic calm of the Adige Valley relaxes us on the way to Pastrengo. As we make our way towards Verona, we'll stumble upon delightful fruit and wine farms, quaint little homesteads, and charming villages. Although far from Shakespeare's homeland, Verona boasts a rich history that includes a magnificent Roman amphitheater, an enchanting opera festival, and captivating churches and bridges. And, of course, one can't forget the delectable regional delicacies and wines that are a perfect complement to this charming city. After a walk, we enjoy dinner in a small pizzeria.

Day 4: To Vicenza - approx. 45 km

In the morning we leave Verona after visiting the Basilica of San Zeno and the Roman amphitheater. We ride along the "pista ciclopedonale Marco Pantani", a beautiful bicycle path that winds through the Italian plain along the Adige river. We ride towards San Bonifacio. The final leg of our journey takes us to Vicenza by train, a city that bears the hallmark of the legendary architect Andrea Palladio. In the afternoon, we'll explore Palladio's extraordinary buildings, which are renowned for their unique blend of simplicity and innovation..

Day 5: Along the Bacchiglione River to Padua - about 47 km

Before heading back to Padua, we have time to visit the Teatro Olimpico, which Goethe enthusiastically described as "realized in miniature and of inexpressible beauty". The famous Villa Rotonda deserves a first break, before continuing along the lazy meanders of the Bacchiglione to the Castello di San Martino and our midday snack. We are now near Padua, where you will have plenty of time to walk around.

Day 6: Padua to Venice - about 37 km

Our day kicks off with a visit to the Scrovegni chapel, followed by a leisurely bike ride covering a few kilometers to the awe-inspiring garden of Villa Pisani, fondly referred to as the "Queen of the World". As we cycle further, we'll pass through verdant fields and quaint little hamlets before finally arriving at our ultimate destination, Fusina. Here, we'll board a boat that will take us to the enchanting Venetian island. Our hotel is just a stone's throw from the Giardini della Biennale and is the perfect base for an unforgettable stay.

Day 7: Venice and the Biennale

Venice and "la bella vita"...with friends on a sunny square, over a coffee or a typical meal overlooking a canal and the inevitable Prosecco. You can choose between a guided or individual tour of the city. From May to November the Biennale Architettura takes place. Many palaces and gardens are open to the public. During your visit, you'll have the opportunity to not only admire the remarkable art and culture of Venice but also revel in the splendid architecture, exquisite inner courtyards, and lavishly decorated residences. You'll have the privilege of gazing at the enchanting canals from a unique perspective, perhaps as the breathtaking fuchsia sunset blankets the city in its warm glow. In the evening, we meet for a dinner to end this exceptional vacation.

Day 8: Departure

You can either choose to depart on your own or opt for our organized tour package (feel free to contact us for more details). We are always available to assist you with an individual extension if you wish to prolong your stay.
